Education: B.Tech/M.Tech-Electrical

Job Description:

  • Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
  • Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities
  • Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees
  • Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices
  • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
  • Ensure and follow-up of realization of payments and approval of the project reports
  • Correspondence with clients and vendors
  • Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
  • Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables and output
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
  • Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers
  • Evaluate and analyse project performance to identify shortcomings and plan for ways to fix similar issues in the future
  • Ensure stakeholders satisfaction
  • Knowledge on preparation of tender documents
  • Ensure proper project closure

Skills required

  • Autocad
  • Micro Station (Preferable)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Project

Qualifications:

  • B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering or railway related engineering disciples like Signalling & Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Project Management professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar educational qualification
  • Overall experience of 5-7 years, of which about 2-3 years’ experience in Metro, LRT or Mainline railways
  • Having knowledge on preparing the reports of pre-construction activities such as Feasibility/Detailed Project Reports
  • Having execution/construction of railway or Metro projects knowledge would be preferable.
