Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
Research, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems
Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans. Produces construction drawings and documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
Analyzing architectural designs and plans, ensuring all designs and plans are compliant with all governmental, health and safety regulations.
Liaise with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.
Communicate the project status & completion timeliness to the clients & the management.
Prepare Building Models & Structure plans.
Network and consult with various industry professionals.
Understand the clients’ requirements and environmental impacts on the project.
Compile project specifications & keep within budgets and timelines.
Site visits to check on project status and report on project.
Follow architectural trends and advancements.
Integrating engineering designs from other complex railway skill areas such as signaling, electrification and permanent way.
Knowledge on Planning the phasing of Preliminary Design stage to Construction stage work.
Ensuring that designs maximize sustainability outcomes during design phase and over whole life of project.
Producing concept and outline design proposals that solve client challenges in the maintenance, renewal, and enhancement of railways.
Coordination with Regional Offices in relations with concerned projects
Skills required:
Autocad and Revit
Proficiency with Auto Cad, Sketch up, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution with a valid license
Experience of 3-5 years in architecture
Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirement
Understanding Green Building Concepts is preferable.
Prior experience of working on railway projects is preferable.
