Job Description:

• Conducting feasibility and DPR studies, system trade-off analyses, and risk assessments to determine the best course of action for railway and metro projects.
• Designing and defining systems architecture, including hardware and software components, for railway and metro systems to ensure that all the systems are integrated
• Developing and maintaining technical specifications for railway and metro systems, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Managing the integration of hardware and software systems for railway and metro projects, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, Civil engineers, S&T engineers, electrical engineers, and mechanical engineers, to ensure that the design of railway and metro systems is integrated and optimized.
• Conducting testing and validation activities for railway and metro systems to ensure that they meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Providing technical support to customers during the implementation and commissioning of railway and metro systems.
• Keeping up to date with the latest technological advancements in the railway and metro industry, and incorporating new technologies into system designs as appropriate.
• Coordination and overall level understanding of other services such as P.Way, Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.
• Co- ordination with relevant stake holders for follow up and approvals.
• Attending site Meetings and Timely review and response to RFI and queries from Site.
• Coordination with other departments and tender technical discussions.
• Preparation/Review of tender documents and BOQ
• Obtain all approvals from Stake holders – Clients, Client representative, Consultant, Approval authorities.
• Visiting project sites for verifying and resolving all design related issues.
• Consult with Consultants and provide continuous feedback to Project Team on status of project regarding system related issues.

Skills required:

• Autocad

Qualifications:

• B. Tech/M. Tech in related field, such as electrical engineering, IT, computer science etc. from an accredited collage
• Experience of more than 15 years’ experience in systems engineering, with a focus on railway and metro systems,
• Good understanding of local and international design standards, code & local authority
• Having knowledge on preparing the reports of pre-construction activities such as Feasibility/Detailed Project Reports, etc. in the rail sector
• Knowledgeable about the latest technologies and trends in the railway and metro industry
